REFLECTING ON ITAP 2025

Blog – Neil Dickinson

Returning to Singapore for ITAP 2025 felt like a real milestone moment for Holdson.

After the exposure generated by last year’s Slingshot competition where we were proud to make it into the Top 10 as the only UK finalist, it was incredibly rewarding to feel recognised. From warm conversations on the show floor to a personal welcome at the British High Commissioner’s reception, it was clear that our technology and our story had made a lasting impression.

Attending as an alumni this year gave us the opportunity to connect with a new wave of Slingshot entrants. It’s always inspiring to see innovation at this stage and to share insights from our own commercial journey.

Beyond the startup space, the week was packed with valuable conversations, from senior stakeholders at established multinationals, to academics and researchers shaping the future of advanced manufacturing in the region. There was a real appetite for collaboration across industrial and institutional boundaries, and ITAP continues to prove itself as a uniquely productive platform for forging those connections.

Singapore’s strategic focus on manufacturing innovation aligns closely with Holdson’s goals for the APAC region. With plans underway for an in-region support hub and growing demand for our technology in sectors like energy, aerospace and med-tech, this year’s event couldn’t have come at a better time.

We’re incredibly grateful to our partners across Enterprise Singapore, Innovate UK, and the UK High Commission for their continued support. We left Singapore with more opportunities, more momentum, and more belief than ever in the global relevance of what we’re building at Holdson.
